Kempa becomes official supplier of RK Vardar
Balingen/Skopje, April 10th, 2024. From next season, the famous German sports brand Kempa will be the official club partner and supplier for sports equipment of the North Macedonian handball club RK Vardar. The agreement between Vardar and Kempa was confirmed today by the presence of Tim Grothaus, the head of sponsorships in Kempa, at a press conference in Skopje.
The cooperation between the Macedonian 15-time champion, and two-time European champion, and the German brand is signed for three years, and all categories in the club, from the youngest to the senior team, will all wear the equipment from the Kempa brand. The same sapplies to the balls that Vardar will play with in the following seasons.
“It is an honor and a pleasure to start the new season together with Kempa. The cooperation with Kempa brings a lot to Vardar. This is a three-year agreement, friendly, sponsoring, and long-term cooperation. It looks like cooperation that will be an added value”,
said Borko Ristovski, the executive director of Vardar.
The German brand believes that they will have a successful and long-term cooperation with Vardar. They cooperate with several handball national teams that played at the last European Championship in Germany, and with several teams from the Bundesliga and in other countries.
“We are happy that Vardar is joining Kempa’s family. I believe that our cooperation will be long-term and fruitful, filled with many successes that we will look forward to together. Our vision to be with the best and to expand to new places has been fulfilled with this cooperation with Vardar”,
said Tim Grothaus.
