Kempa becomes the new outfitter of the Italian handball national teams
Balingen, January 8. The sports brand Kempa is delighted to announce the start of a new partnership with the Italian Handball Federation (FIGH). From now on, the national teams will be equipped by the Swabian sports manufacturer. This strategic partnership marks a significant expansion of Kempa’s core expertise in the handball sector.
The partnership begins with the most anticipated event in handball: the Men’s World Championship, starting on January 14 in Denmark, Norway, and Croatia. After 28 years since their last participation, Italy has qualified again and will debut the new Kempa kits in the opening match against Tunisia, taking a significant step towards renewing FIGH’s brand identity.

Kempa will join the FIGH family as the official outfitter and exclusive supplier for the men’s and women’s national teams, including senior and youth teams, in both indoor and beach handball. This agreement encompasses comprehensive collaboration, including the development of new product lines and the promotion of the Azzurri jersey through special merchandising activities.
